I just recently (4/24/20) decided to give this whole carving thing a shot. I regret, not picking this up much earlier in life, rather than 36. It all started with a $10 set of hand carving tools from hobby lobby one day. Took all of about 20 seconds before they were in the garbage. Went straight to Walmart and bought a Dremel, Stylo+ for $30 and became an instant wood carving beginner. Haha. And that's where I'm at.
